Lux Living uses made-up names in all its posts, except in cases when public figures are being satirized. Any other use of real names is accidental and coincidental.

Lux Living should be enjoyed strictly for its entertainment value and should not be considered a news source.

Stuy Town's Lux Living: Watch what happens when a New York City real-estate giant fails miserably at converting a quiet middle-class housing complex into luxury rentals. The acerbic, anonymous blogger  known as "Lux Living" keeps tabs on the landlord's shortcomings with coverage on illegal tenant evictions, community roach races, and security guards caught watching Sponge Bob.

The New York Times says Lux Living's posts "focus on a paradox: inconvenience to residents as an incompetent management team installs luxuries that residents don't even want."

New York Post "can't get enough of the new Stuy Town mystery blogger."

Curbed.com has described Lux Living as a "dripping-with-sarcasm parody blog" that "we're as surprised as you, is actually pretty funny."

New York Magazine says "the ability of this blogger to keep coming up with fake news posts satirizing the gentrification of Stuyvesant Town...must not go unremarked upon."

The Villager says "one need look no further than the tongue-in-cheek blog "Stuyvesant Town's Lux Living" to get a taste of the generational warfare, which has been mounting steadily since Tishman Speyer purchased the properties in 2006."
