Thanks to Tishman Speyer's financial issues, Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village have slashed their security department by 75% and what's left of them are more interested in harassing tenants with cameras and surfing Craig's List than they are keeping the peace.

if someone would read just this blog you would think that this guy has only robbed in PCV/ST. i love how all you guys forget to mention that out of the 10 robberies he commited only 4 were in this complex, the rest happened in the west village. i guess those are the responsibility of PCV/ST as well not the police department.

There have only been four, not ten, reported muggings by this man and two of them have been in ST/PCV so he definitely favors the neighborhood.
A reader just pointed out the NY1 is reporting 3 of the 4 victims live in either ST or PCV.
