That fool is just BEGGING to get West Nile Virus! What a dope. Please tell me that is a photoshopped pic! I can't believe anyone would be that dumb!
I know. It IS photoshopped. Had me going for a moment. Luxie, you should put in a shark with a Rob Speyer face coming up out of that puddle like "Jaws."
The tag 'Photoshop fun' might be a clue...
great image!! even down to the reflection in the 'pool'!
A Rob Speyer shark emerging from the puddle would only fit if it was a hot guy on the raft.
Are you sure about that or is it just conjecture? Apart from on this board, I've never heard any references to Speyer's sexual orientation. And I don't know why it seems such a big deal, anyway.
You make an excellent point. I should have written "A Rob Speyer shark emerging from the puddle would only fit if there's a cute goat on the raft" instead of "hot guy," and it was wrong of me to post an assumption about Robbie's sexual orientation when the overwhelming evidence points to his predilection for farm animals.
Thanks again, Beulah, for the heads-up!
You are sick. Really sick.
No need to get verbally abusive, Beulah. I have no connection with the proprietors of Oval Bada Bing who sponsor goat nights. Take your anger out on them!
Plus that's regular water. You know Robbie likes a refreshing golden shower. It's common knowledge at the Eagle.
BBBLLEEEAAAATTTTTT
I see the sockpuppets have been busy.
Check out this article about the city's plans for a complex with 5,000 units of affordable housing: http://www.crainsnewyork.com/article/20090625/FREE/906259977.
From the article:
This project is three years in the making—the city first announced plans to acquire the site in 2006 and completed the uniform land use review procedure in November 2008. In exchange for title to the land from the ESDC and the Port Authority, the city has agreed to pay $100 million. The funds will go to several capital projects in Queens that the Port Authority is overseeing. Details about those projects have not been finalized.
The housing component will create 3,000 units for family households of four with incomes between $55,000 and $158,000. The apartments are part of the city’s $7.5 billion New Housing Marketplace Plan, which calls for the preservation and creation of 165,000 affordable housing units across the five boroughs.
“The city sorely needs moderate-and middle-income housing—ask any police officer, firefighter, sanitation worker, teacher or nurse that you know,” said Housing Preservation and Development Commissioner Rafael Cestero, in a statement.
The Hunters Point South development is part of Mr. Bloomberg’s Five Borough Economic Plan.
Other than Dan Garodnick, has anyone else on this blog heard of the New Housing Marketplace Plan, and why haven't we benefited from it? (Being only partly rhetorical.)
Rob's socks are all crusty and tucked in the bottom of his hamper so he's definately not playing with sockpuppets. Probably why he moved on to goats!
That nasty crustiness is most likely a result of the "sock puppet penis parties" that Robbie and Nick throw at Oval Bada Bing for their four-legged friends. Extra-large adult socks fit the goats just fine, but unfortunately, Robbie and Nick are forced to order socks to fit their MUCH smaller size (to put it as politely as possible) from a children's store online.
Girl, are you referring to the nasty crustiness that has encased Beulah?
Well, just between you and me, that would be too kind a description for LL's resident Rottweiler and wannabe hall monitor!
There's fear and darkness all around you/The criminals are on the run/No use in not having your hall pass/I'll take you to the principal cause I'm the dawg! I am the dawg, the big bad dawg, the
hallway monitor!
Can we all just start getting along again?
Months ago Roundly Roger and I got taken to the woodshed by LL and others because of our disagreements about the TA (whose website I noticed now has eliminated the forum link that had been "under maintenance" for about 8 months).
We may have gotten carried away at times but at least the subject related to STPCV.
Now we are seeing numerous posts containing personal attacks. These posts should cease and I ask LL to try to rein them in.
Fuck off, Ziggy. Everybody knows you're biased. It was Beulah who butted-in and began criticizing and making several uncalled for remarks on this thread, as she always does. No, we will not be censored by Beulah or yourself. Neither of you were deemed hall monitors by Lux Living.
This is a parody site....if you don't like it, go elsewhere.
Great image! LOL.
At this point all I will say is that what you have been writing is not parody - rather it contains many personal attacks capped with telling me to F off .
I and I am sure noone else is laughing with you but we are laughing AT you
Coming from Beulah's sock puppet, I consider that a compliment! Especially since what I truly love to parody and satirize are hypocritical asshats like you two. I'd know that I wasn't doing my job if you guys didn't end up deservedly offended, so thanks for the validation!
For the wannabe hall monitors of Lux Living, Ziggy and Beulah:
Definition of "control freak":
"In psychology-related slang, control freak is a derogatory term for a person who attempts to dictate how everything around them is done. Professor of clinical psychology Les Parrott wrote that "Control Freaks are people who care more than you do about something and won't stop at being pushy to get their way."[1]
In some cases, the control freak sees their constant intervention as beneficial or even necessary; this can be caused by feelings of superiority, believing that others are incapable of handling matters properly, or the fear that things will go wrong if they don't attend to every detail. In other cases, they may simply enjoy the feeling of power it gives them so much that they automatically try to gain control of everything around them."

I don't think many people will feel inclined to vote this blog as "Best Humor Blog" so long as it is controlled by a couple of nasty, abusive snipers who have brought it down to the level of some sort of gutter fight.
First off, I'd like to point out that when a commenter posts here, that person speaks for him or herself. I notice some people like to use "we" all too freely as if he or she knows what other people are thinking, or laughing at.
Secondly, regarding your other point regarding the cease and desist letters we got from the proprietor here over our ongoing TA disagreements: those were sent to us after various busybodies complained via email to Lux Living about the disagreements. The dispute among these 3 evidently isn't generating complaints. I guess the same busybodies don't mind ongoing disagreements as long as the comments are kept short and personal.
BINGO
Sorry but Beulah/Rosie/Caroline is the one instigating personal judgments and name calling without any prompting from Girl or I.
i.e. "You are sick. Really sick."
"I see the sockpuppets have been busy."
and don't forget
"Common human decency" is not something girl is into.
