Manhattan
A teen wanted on a warrant was busted after he followed two women into their Stuyvesant Town building and fondled one, authorities said yesterday.
Francisco Sostenes, 18, allegedly pursued the women several blocks and into the vestibule of their apartment building at 15 Stuyvesant Oval at 4:24 a.m. Saturday.
He exposed himself, reached under the skirt of one of the women and groped her, police said. The women shoved Sostenes outside and pressed a button that alerted security.
Guards quickly grabbed Sostenes, who was charged with burglary and sexual abuse, the Manhattan DA's Office said. Sostenes was wanted on a warrant for a similar attack in 2006 on the Upper West Side."

Nice to see Security doing a good job (and I'm not being snarky).
At 4:24 AM one should be a little cautious. Personally, I would have called Security from my cell before I got into the vestibule, that's the worst place to be. I get frustrated with Security sometimes because the "bosses" give them rules and those rules aren't always in the best interests of the community.
BTW, I once was confronted and harassed by a drunk neighbor at 5 AM while I was loading my car for a trip to the country. Security responded very quickly.
And as far as the Twitter about "hockey at sundown", Security is 100% correct in stopping the game, but 100% lazy in using the loudspeaker. The whole point is to reduce noise, not create more. The playgrounds close before dark, there's no question about it.
Oh dear. This brings back awful memories of mother's nightmare ordeal in the elevator with perky television personality Rachel Ray. Mother said that no sooner had the doors closed and they began their ascent, than Ray began pestering her about cleansing her colon and would she like to cuddle. Mother managed to fend the unappetizing hostess of 30 Minute Meals off by beaning her on the noggin' with my copy of Ruth Reichl's marvelous new coffee table book, Garlic and Sapphires. I don't think it hurt too much but it sure scared her off!
Edna, what do you have against Rachel Ray? Did she steal one of your recipes for her show?
OMG! Ponies!
Sounds like the bad old days are coming back in full force. Yippee (not).
