I have been here since 94. It was always Con Ed, the city or "are you sure your bathtub is clean?" It got even better as the years went on. I would call service and do the usual begging to be allowed to bathe or wash dishes and they would say, "we'll have the line blown some time this week." It got even better. I received a letter from their attorney warning me not to call about the brown water and abusing their people in service. Their best was "you are the only one with the problem." You are the only one complaining." I love that word. I was REQUESTING usable water so I could shower on waking. Very unreasonable I am. Then of course there was always the implication the I was crazy and had nothing else to do but call and harass service. I remember the days Cruz would come up, see the sludge and shake his head. "Well, we will just have to blow down your line everyday." Sure.
This morning the water was so brown that I could not take a shower and had to wait 20 minutes until it was clean . You would be shocked at the sludge in the bath tub. Next time it runs brown I am going to call the DOH to take a sample
