Stuy Town Buffs Penis w/ Chicken Feet

Stuy Town scraps newly proposed mascot, a penis with chicken feet.Correction. It only took Stuyvesant Town a few hours to get around to buffing out the newly suggested Stuy Town mascot, Penis w/ Chicken Feet. The randy fellah was washed from the wall, (but not from our hearts) by Saturday night. If only management tackled the real problems this quickly....

yes.. very clean...

with not a single bit of evidence that it was even there.

Anyone remember the movie "Turk 182" in which Timothy Hutton left that tag on graffitti all over NYC?
I hope whoever drew Penishead will emulate Turk 182.
By the way, Am I the only one who can still see the outline of Penishead on the wall? Another half-assed job by TS management. LOL

LONG LIVE PENISHEAD

Of course you can still see him. It's really tough washing children's chalk off of brick.

Here's an idea. Why doesn't management use chalkboard paint to cover the entire complex? That way our young renters can scribble and keep notes and telephone numbers on building walls without anyone getting into trouble! And Mssrs. Speyer can even apply a magnetic primer before the chalkboard paint so the youngsters can attach note paper or memos on your building, too!

Easy and fun!

Curses! I was hoping someone would decorate it for Christmas.

With jingle balls. :)

yes, i can still see the outline - it should be converted into christmas balls, don't you think?

I have a name for Penishead.

Let's call it either "Robbie" or "George" !!

How about Robbie G. Penishead

Dick who?

Penishead

Who is Dick? Robbie and George have particular meaning in the context of STPCV management

lighten up, will ya?

You know when TS stop turning our homes into slums, I will lighten up.
They make Metlife look like "Landlord of the Year"

Good on 'ya, Ziggy. I gotta laugh when I see people calling you out as repetitive or obsessed . . .

When you've got tens of thousands apparently lost is aimless quietude while their homes and community are being are messed with, there aren't enough hours in the day for one guy to say too much. Even if that guy literally repeated "where is the tenants' association" constantly, every waking hour -- which not even your critics charge you with (OK, maybe some of 'em do).

Keep pressing, especially with you direct communication with the TA board. I hope there is life there; I know there are (or at least have been) good intentions and competence.

You're right.

Um, it's possible to lighten up about the name of a penis with chicken feet written by a kid in chalk, without lightening up on Tishman Speyer turning our homes into slums. Who cares if Dick is relevant to someone running Stuyvesant Town? Every little thing doesn't have to make sense-It's Stuyvesant Town. What makes sense in Stuy Town? The fact that the order of the buildings around the oval goes 3,1,5,7,9 etc....and 4,2,6,8,10 etc? Loop roads with security booths when u leave the road instead of entering? A basement called Terrace? Ridiculous.

But I do agree, Met Life looks great now.

Uh.. You might not have noticed, but there actually IS an order to the numbering of the Oval Buildings.

Odd numbers are on the West side of the Oval, Even numbers on the East.

The Security booth at the exit of the loop allows the guard to write down the license plate of the car containing the flat panel TV that they just stole from your apartment !

And.. Not all the Terraces are basements, some are below ground (eg. 445 E 14), most are at ground level and some are ABOVE ground (eg. 315 Ave C, 610 e 20).

See... the wonderful diversity of Stuyvesant Town makes perfect sense to me, but then, I've lived here for more than 50 years. !!

It's the Peter Cooper buildings that are all identical and bland :-P

Actually with what I was saying, I wasn't talking about the odd and even. I was talking about how the numbers don't start in order. It starts at 4 drops down to 2 and then up to 6, same with 3 1 and 5. It's a small thing, same as the penis with chicken feet. Maybe I'm the only person in the world who has noticed, but I noticed.

Secondly the guards had no problem getting lic plate info when they had the roads closed off in their makeshift booths. I have never seen one single place where the security booth is located where people leave except here. You can just as easily track the cars going in as you can going out, if not better when they go in. No guards are ever aware enough to catch a plate anyway. The point of them should be to regulate what vehicles enter, not who leaves, and it probably is to see who leaves so they can say this isn't their primary residence.

As far as the basements, most of the buildings half of T is located belowground, half above. Again, no where in the world is their a floor called terrace, and no where in the world is it on the Ground floor...maybe that's what it should be called. G.

Regardless of all that, I only meant take the serious stuff seriously and the light stuff lightly. It's Stuy Town. Nothing makes sense.

And yes Peter Cooper is bland

God, I just ordered a new flat screen TV. You mean I could've just stolen one?

user-pic

If you steal one, can I have yours?

Someone should draw a VAGINA with Manolo Blahnik"s on her feet and call it Anne-Cecilie
